Description
For any system based around the main control box (Part No: CBAx/00x/BIA) The control box is designed to enable the monitoring of all the tower lights via a pair of signal wires returned from the lamp/s. A stabilised 12v dc supply is generated on the printed circuit board within the control box in order to run the monitoring circuit. A loop monitoring circuit & set/reset relay, constantly looks for a change of status in any lamp on the system. Once triggered it provides visual and audible warning on the front panel of a lamp failure. Provision is made on the control box to reset the system following any corrective works carried out after a failure has occurred. A photo-cell circuit constantly monitors daylight levels, powering up to the obstacle lamp supply during hours of darkness. A photo-cell override key is provided to manually override the photo-cell control output. This allows fault finding to be carried out during daylight hours. The alarm circuit triggering is inhibited when the photocell /manual photocell over-ride are not active I.E. OFF. Thus preventing lamp shutdown during daylight as being registered incorrectly as a lamp failure, however once triggered during monitoring mode, the alarm will stay active, even if the photocell or over-ride key is deactivated: This allows for failure during say the previous night to remain indicated, until such time that corrective work has been carried out.Only at this point can the alarm be cancelled by pressing the reset button. A power indicator (green lamp) indicates presence of the 12vdc control box supply. . |
